Today, I responded to a shots fired call and assisted our highway officer who was conducting preemptive patrol one mile inside the interstate. During the patrol, a black suspect fired shots at the officer. Following the incident, Sgt. Raymond documented the events to present them to the county prosecutor's office and also took the opportunity to photograph me.
